Where Plays Take Root.
Greenheart Productions’ development wing supports artists and new work in the early stages of creation through artist retreats, private readings, workshops, and dramaturgical exploration.
Based in part at Driftway Barn in Westport, CT, this work gives playwrights and creative teams the time, space, and support to listen, revise, experiment, and discover what a piece is becoming.
For us, development is an essential part of the artistic process: a place where stories are nurtured with care, rigor, and heart before they meet the wider world.
